ICE Totally Gaming 2016 was recently held in London. A large number of both gaming industry leaders and smaller players in the industry were able to showcase their achievements and let the gaming world know what the future holds. The Playtech stand was a popular one, as were its industry-related TED-style talks given over the three days.
Playtech at ICE Totally Gaming 2016
Playtech’s display at ICE Totally Gaming 2016 was a huge display with large screens and other product displays. The gaming software provider also hosted the Playtech Academy in a fully equipped conference room. Over the three days, there were 15 free presentations covering topics that are important to their operators and others in the gaming industry.
When More Weizer, Playtech’s Chief Executive Officer commented on the year ahead, he put much emphasis on its Playtech ONE system. Weizer explained the importance of omni-channel availability and how it improves the gaming experience. He explained how Playtech’s future growth will be positively affected by its competent offering of omni-channel services along with dynamic data and intelligence gathering.
The omni-channel system enables players to use a single account and a single e-wallet solution for all Playtech services. The Playtech ONE system includes all devices.
Weizer explained that operators experience better user retention rates when using an omni-channel system. The company will continue to develop its products that will all be compatible with the full-service omni-channel functions available. This means that any further innovations and developments from Playtech will be available to users on all channels including desktop, mobile and retails platforms.
When covering the topic of growth in the gaming industry, Weizer expressed the opinion that the best direction to go is through regulated markets. The regulated markets offer the best opportunities for operators. He noted that with the new regulations, taxes, and market conditions that have been introduced, those wishing to operate in regulated markets are burdened by the new taxation and other gambling laws.
