Playtech has launched the first online Casino in the Czech Republic. Online casinos have only recently been legalized by the Czech government.

Towards the end of February, Fortuna was granted the Czech Republic’s first license to operate an online casino. The license issued by the Czech Ministry of Finance, gives Fortuna permission to operate ‘online technical games.’
Fortuna has now gone live with a quality selection of Playtech casino games. Included in the games available are Gladiator, White King, and the Age of the Gods series of slots. The gaming brand has plans to expand its casino games offering in the future, and will include additional Playtech titles. The games are available both online and on mobile devices.
Fortuna has already entered the Romanian gaming market, and has plans to offer gaming in Slovakia and in Poland. The company has plans to become one of the leading Central and Eastern European betting operators in the regulated European marketplace. To this end, in August last year, Fortuna and Playtech signed an agreement. The contract has Playtech provide its top notch omni-channel platform to Fortuna. The omni-channel offering allows players to use a single wallet and sign-in name across multiple platforms including gaming, sportsbook, and CRM.
