About Playtech Craps
Craps is a dice game that is very popular at Playtech casinos. This is mainly due to the fact that their craps table is designed at the same high standard as their other table games you can play. The design is much like a bathtub with rails around the betting section to place your virtual chips. Playing craps at a Playtech powered casino doesn’t feature real life croupiers; however, the game will still be quicker than playing at a brick and mortar casino.
The aim when playing Craps is to correctly predict the outcomes of the dice rolled. The player has several different bets they can make. The Pass Line bet is probably the most common type of bet. If a 7 or 11 is rolled on the come out roll, you will win even money on your wager, but if it’s a 2, 3, or a 12, that’s craps and you lose. If another number is rolled, then a point is established, and if the point is rolled first you win, but if the 7 rolls you will lose. You only want to see a 7 on the come out roll.
Place bets can be made on a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10 by placing your chips below the number. This is a win or lose bet, you’re hoping that a specific number will be rolled before a 7 is rolled. Likewise, place bets can be made by placing your chips above a chosen number, but with this bet you’re hoping a 7 is rolled before the number.
Once all bets have been placed, click on the “Roll” button to roll the dice. You’ll hear the virtual croupier say “They are coming out” before the dice are thrown.
Playtech Craps Odds
The 3x odds payout applies to all Pass, Don't Pass, Come and Don't Come bets. The odds for Hardway bets are 7 to 1 for the four/ten, and 9 to 1 for the six/eight. When you look at the Playtech Craps table, you will see the odds for all the bets the player can place.
Even though the game offers many different bets which may seem confusing at first, if you stick to playing low house edge bets like the pass/don’t pass line, you will increase your winning chances.
